Why did I get a Real Time Intelligence email?

What the email means, who receives it and what to do next.

You got this email because you receive enquiries for your venue on Hire Space, and we found changes that our analysis indicates could help you win one of them.

The competing proposals email

The subject reads something like "3 ways to win Northwind Analytics' summer party".

  • We send it ten minutes after your last price change on a proposal, once at least your minimum number of other venues have priced the same event (3 by default).
  • It lists up to 3 changes, under "Our analysis indicates these changes would help most".
  • Each change has one sentence on why and one impact: a better chance to win, or more revenue.
  • We never add suggestions just to make up the number. Some emails have one or two.

The email after we pitch your venue to the client

The subject reads something like "After pitching Northwind Analytics' summer party to the client: one change that may win it".

  • We've pitched your venue, alongside others, to the client, and this is the one change our analysis indicates may win it.
  • The why can reflect what the client told us.
  • To discuss it, use Talk to your Hire Space contact in the email. That's the person at Hire Space who looks after this booking.

This email is rolling out now, so you may not have received one yet.

What to do next

  1. Read the suggestions.
  2. Select Review and apply on any you want to use. Opening the link doesn't change anything.
  3. On the page that opens, press Apply to my proposal. See How do I apply a suggested change?

You don't have to do anything. If you ignore the email, your proposal stays as it is.

Who receives it

Everyone who receives your venue's enquiries. If you unsubscribe from the email, it stops for you only. To stop it for everyone at the venue, turn off Real Time Intelligence emails in Intelligence settings. See Changing your Real Time Intelligence settings.
