Why didn't I get an email for an enquiry?
The common reasons a proposal doesn't get a Real Time Intelligence email.
Not every proposal gets a Real Time Intelligence email. Check these reasons in order.
1. Not enough other venues have priced the event
We only look at a proposal once at least your minimum number of other venues have priced the same event. The default is 3. If fewer have proposed, there's nothing to compare with yet. You can lower the minimum in Intelligence settings. See Changing your Real Time Intelligence settings.
2. Nothing was worth changing
If our analysis finds no change that would really help, we don't send an email. We'd rather send nothing than a weak suggestion.
3. We've already looked at this proposal
We look at each proposal once for competing proposals. Changing your prices again later doesn't send a new email. After we pitch your venue to the client, you may get one more email with one change.
4. It's too soon
We wait ten minutes after your last price change before we look. If you add another price to the proposal in that time, the wait starts again.
5. Emails are off, or you've unsubscribed
- If Real Time Intelligence emails are turned off in Intelligence settings, nobody at the venue gets them. We still make suggestions, and you'll find them in Intelligence > Real Time Intelligence.
- If you unsubscribed from a Real Time Intelligence email, you won't get them, but others at your venue still will.
6. You don't receive this venue's enquiries
The emails go to the people who receive your venue's enquiries. If you don't get enquiry emails, you won't get these either.
7. The proposal isn't live
We don't make suggestions on proposals that are closed or in a contract that's been sent to the client. Instant quotes aren't included either.
8. Your plan doesn't include it
Real Time Intelligence comes with Intelligence Core and Intelligence Prime, and is included with Growth Prime until 31 December. See Who gets Real Time Intelligence?
Still unsure? Open Intelligence > Real Time Intelligence. Every run is listed there, whether or not it was emailed.
