My link has expired or says it can't be applied
What each message on the suggestion page means and what to do next.
If a suggestion can't be applied, the page tells you why. In every case below except the last one, nothing in your proposal has changed.
The link has expired
Email links work for 31 days. After that, the page names the event and tells you the link has expired.
What to do: log in and open Intelligence > Real Time Intelligence to see what we suggested. If the proposal is still open, you can make the change yourself from the enquiry.
Already in your proposal
You, or someone else at your venue, already applied this suggestion. The page shows when it was applied and how.
What to do: nothing. To reverse it, see Can I undo a change?
The proposal is closed
The enquiry was won, lost or cancelled, so we don't change the proposal.
What to do: open the run in Real Time Intelligence to see what we suggested and how the proposal turned out.
The proposal is in a sent contract
The proposal is in a contract that's been sent to the client, so it can't be changed from here.
What to do: if you still want the change, update the contract from the enquiry in the venues app.
The line was removed
The suggestion changes a line that was removed from your proposal after we sent it. Other suggestions for the event can still be applied.
The price has changed since we suggested this
Someone edited that line after we made the suggestion. We won't overwrite your edit. The page shows the price we suggested from and the current price.
What to do: if you still want the suggested price, change it yourself from the enquiry.
You dismissed this in Real Time Intelligence
Someone dismissed the suggestion in the venues app. If you've changed your mind, select Apply anyway.
The link isn't valid
The link may be incomplete, for example if it was cut short when copied.
What to do: select the link in the original email again, or log in and open Real Time Intelligence.
We couldn't confirm this went through
The connection dropped while we were applying the change, so we can't tell whether it was applied.
What to do: press Try again. A change is never applied twice. If it keeps failing, open the run in Real Time Intelligence to check.
