How to Opt Into Blog Features

Blog Features let you opt your venue into Hire Space's curated blog posts. Each blog is published on hirespace.com and read by thousands of event planners looking for venue recommendations. This feature is available to Growth Prime venues only.

How it works

  1. Go to Growth > Blog Opt-ins in your sidebar
  2. Browse upcoming blogs by month, or use the search bar to find specific topics
  3. Click on a blog to see more details and check availability
  4. If slots are available, click to opt your venue in
  5. Your venue will be featured when the blog is published

Understanding the blog schedule

The blog list is organised by month, with each month showing:

  • The number of blogs scheduled
  • How many total slots are available across those blogs

Each individual blog shows:

  • The blog title and topic (e.g. "Top 7 Central London Private Dining Venues")
  • When it publishes
  • How many slots are available (e.g. "4 of 13 available" means 4 of the 13 venue slots are still open for Prime venues to claim)
      

    Limits

    • Up to 3 blog opt-ins per year per venue
    • Each blog features up to 10 venues
    • Published blogs cannot be changed after publication

    Viewing your opt-ins

    Use the Your Opt-ins filter at the top of the page to see which blogs your venue is currently opted into. This gives you a quick view of your selections without scrolling through every month.

    Choosing the right blogs

    Match the topic to your venue's strengths. If your venue has a spectacular outdoor terrace, "Best Summer Party Venues With Outdoor Space" is a stronger fit than a generic conference blog.

    Spread your 3 opt-ins across the year. One blog in spring, one in summer and one in autumn gives you consistent exposure rather than three features in a single quarter.

    Check slot availability. Blogs with more available slots mean less competition. But don't avoid popular topics entirely. A blog about Christmas party venues will get more traffic than a niche topic, even with more venues featured.

    Think about lead time. Event planners often research venues months before the event. A blog about summer parties published in March will influence bookings for June, July and August.

    Filtering and views

    • All Blogs / Your Opt-ins: Toggle between the full schedule and just your selected blogs
    • 2026 / 2027: Switch between years to plan ahead
    • Calendar / List: Switch between views (List gives a cleaner overview for browsing)
    • Expand / Collapse: Open or close all months at once
    • Search: Find blogs by keyword (e.g. "Christmas", "dining", "conference")

    FAQ

    Can I change my mind after opting in? Contact your account manager to discuss changes to your blog selections.

    When does the blog get published? Each blog listing shows its publish date. Published blogs remain live on hirespace.com indefinitely.

    Will I be notified when my blog goes live? Yes. You'll receive a notification when the blog featuring your venue is published.

    What does "Published - X venues featured" mean? This appears on blogs that have already been published. It shows how many venues were included in the final post.
