How do I remove my venue from Hire Space?- NEW

Read on if your profile needs to be taken off hirespace.com by changing its status from published to dormant.

We understand that you might not want to be on Hire Space anymore, perhaps your venue is being refurbished and can't take enquiries for a while, or maybe your premises are no longer available for private hire. Whatever your reason, if you're sure you'd like to remove your profile from Hire Space, here's how. 

The best way to go about removing your profile is to drop us a short email letting us know. That way, we can properly deactivate your profile and make sure that you don't receive any reminder or notification emails from us. 

If you ever need to temporarily remove your profile from public view—whether due to maintenance, availability changes, or any other urgent reason—you have the option to unpublish it at any time. To do so, navigate to the upper corner of your profile page, where the current publication Status is displayed. Click on the Publish button, and a dropdown menu will appear. From there, simply select the Unpublish option. Once selected, your profile will be taken offline immediately

If you wish to unpublish a specific space, the process is straightforward. Simply select the space you would like to unpublish. In the upper corner of the space settings, you will see the current Status displayed. Click on the Publish button, and a menu will appear with the option to Unpublish. Once selected, the space will be unpublished immediately and will no longer be visible to clients on the platform. This feature allows you to manage your listings with flexibility and ensure only active or available spaces are displayed.

If your profile is currently set to ‘Unpublished’, you will still have full access to edit your profile and submit it for reapproval should you wish to make it live on the website again. However, please note that you may continue to receive notifications regarding any pending enquiries during this time. To ensure your account is fully deactivated and no further communication is sent, we recommend reaching out to our team via email to confirm the deactivation.
